AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
Charleston International Airport Ambassadors are volunteers from all walks of life who donate their time, experience and enthusiasm to help travelers and visitors enjoy their time at the airport and in the Lowcountry. Because they live and work here, our volunteers are able to help visitors get information about transportation, tourism and entertainment related activities in the local area.
The Ambassadors Program launched on March 13, 2011 to help travelers navigate our growing airport. Charleston International welcomes 15,000 people a day through its doors and over 6 million passengers a year. The program began with six volunteers and has grown to more than 20 men and women who volunteer at least two hours a week. Among our volunteers are former college professors, teachers and researchers and retired leaders in business and industry.
By volunteering your time as an Ambassador at Charleston International Airport you will gain the personal satisfaction of providing a helping hand to the many visitors who will be grateful for your assistance. The entire airport community will much appreciate your assistance!
