Charleston Regional Aviation Authority (Authority) hereby announces its proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 12.0% for USDOT/FAA-funded contracts/agreements.
The proposed goal pertains to federal fiscal years 2026 through 2028 (10/1/2025 – 9/30/2028). An in-person and virtual meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. (ET) for the purpose of consulting with stakeholders to obtain information relevant to the goal-setting process.
The Authority is working with The Nelson Ideation Group, LLC to set its new overall goal for the participation of DBEs in USDOT/FAA-funded projects it anticipates awarding in federal fiscal years 2026, 2027 and 2028. The goal pertains to:
- Charleston International Airport – (CHS)
- Charleston Executive Airport – (JZI)
- Mount Pleasant Regional Airport (LRO)
The Authority invites all business owners, consultants, organizations, and external stakeholders to attend the in person or virtual stakeholder meeting on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., in order for the Authority to consult with its stakeholders to obtain information relevant to the goal-setting process, and request review and comment to its new proposed DBE goal and methodology.
The proposed goal and its attendant methodology are available for inspection between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, at Charleston Regional Aviation Authority, 5500 International Blvd., #101, North Charleston, SC 29418-6911, and on the CHS website www.iflychs.com for 30 days from the date of this public notice.
