(North Charleston) – Frontier Airlines will launch new nonstop service from Charleston International Airport (CHS) to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) on May 17th. This new seasonal route will operate four times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
“Charleston has not had nonstop service to Cleveland since 2019,” said Elliott Summey, executive director and CEO of Charleston International Airport. “We are thrilled that Frontier has chosen to return this service to its roster of nonstop routes at CHS, providing a popular link connecting Northeast Ohio to the rich history and culture of the Lowcountry area.”
"Today's announcement expands our route map to an additional destination in the Great Lakes region, and we appreciate Frontier expanding its service to a second destination from CHS," said Helen Hill, CEO of Explore Charleston and Chair of the Aviation Authority. "We look forward to welcoming visitors from this major Midwest market and increasing ways for Charleston area residents to more affordably and easily connect with friends, family and vacation opportunities."
To celebrate today’s announcement, Frontier Airline is offering fares as low as $19* and Premium Seat Upgrades starting at $19**. Visit their website at www.flyfrontier.com for details.
