(North Charleston) Today, the Charleston International Airport celebrated the opening of The Club CHS, a new premium shared-use lounge in the main concourse, during a ribbon cutting ceremony. The 3,060 square-foot lounge will seat up to 52 customers, with plans to expand to a total of 4,041 square-feet and 83 seats in the coming months, who can now comfortably wait for their flight while enjoying a quiet place to relax, get work done, sit down for a meal or freshen up.
“This lounge shows our commitment in providing our travelers with first-class amenities that will enhance their passenger experience at Charleston International Airport”, said Paul G. Campbell, Jr., the Aviation Authority’s Executive Director and CEO. “And thanks to our excellent partnership with ALD we can now offer our passengers a premium service and space to utilize before their flight.”
“We are delighted to be a part of the exciting growth at Charleston International Airport,” said Nancy Knipp, senior vice president at ALD. “The Club CHS brings an alternative place for Charleston travelers to relax and experience the true spirit that makes Charleston an award-wining city for business and leisure.”
