Breeze Airways™ Announces New Service from Charleston to New York’s Long Island MacArthur and Palm Beach International Airports, From $39 One Way

(Charleston, SC)— Breeze Airways, the Seriously Nice™ new U.S. low-fare airline, is adding two new routes in February from Charleston International Airport (CHS) to New York’s Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) and Palm Beach International Airport (PBI), its first new market additions since the airline’s debut in May.

"A hallmark of Breeze's service is nonstop service between underserved routes across the U.S. at affordable fares," said Elliott Summey, airport CEO and executive director. “Our recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic is putting the Charleston region on the best track to be one of the safest places to live and visit. This connection to new and more cities shows that not only are we a safe place to visit, but the right place to do business.”

On February 18th, Breeze will introduce twice-weekly roundtrips between CHS and New York/Islip, operating on Fridays and Mondays. The airline then will introduce a Saturday-only roundtrip flight to Palm Beach on February 19th. Fares on both routes will start at $39 one-way.

“The partnership with Breeze Airways has exceeded our expectations, and it is beyond encouraging that they are announcing two new routes for Charleston International within their first six months of operation. These are our region's first-ever nonstop flights to Long Island and West Palm Beach. We are confident that more convenient travel between prestigious coastal destinations will be popular among Long Islanders, south Floridians and Charleston area residents alike," said Helen Hill, CEO of Explore Charleston and Chair of the Charleston County Aviation Authority.

With the two new routes, Breeze will now serve 13 destinations from Charleston:

• Akron/Canton, OH

• Columbus, OH

• Hartford, CT
