Find Your Ride
Access to all Ground Transportation is located outside of baggage claim at the west end of the terminal. General information for available transportation options can be found below.
Ride Sharing
The airport offers passengers a covered shelter as the designated pick-up location for ride sharing services. For Uber or Lyft, please use the app to arrange your ride. Once you request your ride, you will exit out of the baggage claim area and follow signs to Zones 1, 2, or 3, which is across both roadways and to the right of the last sidewalk.
Uber Ride Share
Use the Uber App to arrange for your ride. Follow signs outside of Baggage Claim. The sheltered pickup area is across both roadways and to the right of the last sidewalk.
Lyft Ride Share
Use the Lyft App to arrange for your ride. Follow signs outside of Baggage Claim. The sheltered pickup area is across both roadways and to the right of the last sidewalk.
KreweCar Ride Share
Use the KreweCar App to arrange for your ride. Follow signs outside of Baggage Claim. The sheltered pickup area is across both roadways and to the right of the last sidewalk.
Hotel Shuttles
Many local hotels offer courtesy shuttle service to and from the airport. Pickup is outside of Baggage Claim. A list of hotels currently offering shuttle service, along with contact information, is provided below.
Taxis
To request a taxi, please proceed to the ground transportation booth. Taxi service is located in the center median outside Baggage Claim. You will be greeted by a starter who will quote a rate based upon destination.
Taxis charge a $17 minimum rate from CHS.
Bus Service
The Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) provides scheduled bus service to the Tanger Outlet Center and Downtown Charleston. The CARTA stop at CHS is a well-lit, covered shelter located just outside of Baggage Claim.
Rental Car Companies
Rental car desks are located at the end of the terminal past Baggage Claim. Rental car drop-off is located on Level 1 of the new five-tier parking deck and offers covered walkways to and from the terminal, state of the art security, and premium services to most rental car company customers.
