AIRPORT CONCESSIONS
In 2013, the Charleston County Aviation Authority awarded the primary food service concession contract at Charleston International Airport to award-winning Delaware North Travel Hospitality Services. Delaware North, under a joint venture with a qualified Airport Concessions Disadvantage Business Enterprise, built and operates nine dining locations throughout the airport. These include several prominent local restaurant concepts as well as national brands including: Starbucks, Charleston Beer Works, Ashley Cooper Provisions, DeSano’s Pizza Bakery, Harvest & Grounds, Jack Nicklaus Golden Bear Grill, Commonhouse Aleworks, Burger King, and Cinnabon.
The Hudson Group, another airport concession industry leader, operates eight retail outlets in the terminal that include recognized local and national brands: Hudson Store (three venues; one with the Dunkin’ Donuts), Hudson Non-Stop, Sunglass Hut, Tech on the Go, Chick-fil-A, and Veranda News. Hudson has teamed up with Veranda News, its long-term ACDBE joint venture partner, to provide a selection of retail and convenience offerings to the traveling public.
