Charleston International Airport “CHS Cares” Initiative to Support Local Educators with Essential Supplies

(North Charleston) – Charleston International Airport (CHS) is proud to announce a new community initiative to provide local educators with much-needed school supplies for the upcoming academic year. In a collaborative effort to support teachers and enhance student learning experiences, CHS is launching its CHS Cares “Clear the List” campaign, which will offer a generous donation of essential school supplies to schools across the Lowcountry area.

Teachers, to Participate:

  • Register using the Microsoft form [https://forms.office.com/g/53zkpcYJYm].
  • Provide your school district/teacher email address for verification.
  • Cross your fingers and stay tuned—we'll randomly select wish lists to clear!

  • “Education is the cornerstone of our community’s future, and we recognize the vital role that teachers play in shaping young minds,” said Elliott Summey, Executive Director of Charleston International Airport. “With our ‘Clear the List’ campaign, we hope to alleviate some of the financial burdens teachers face and provide them with the resources they need to create a positive and productive learning environment.”

    From August 1st through August 15th, CHS will be clearing teachers' wish lists at random!
